The German fighters use a lot of air-to-air rockets. Like, pretty much every battle sequence there will be a rocket attack, there will be the use of an air-to-air rocket, probably multiple. It seems very clear that the show is saying this was a widespread practice, that a lot of German fighters would go up against B-17s with rockets.

Oct 9, 2022 · Rockets are more of a niche weapon that I don't really use at all, but IIRC the regular rockets do more single target damage (better for clearing nests) while the explosive rockets do more splash damage (better for clearing biter waves).

I tried it a little bit and I more and more get the feeling, that fireworks with only 1 flight duration are way more efficient than rockets with flight duration 3. You need 3 Gunpowder for such a rocket, while a rocket with duration 1 only requires 1 powder. Is there any real data somewhere out there, or did you maybe made similar experiences?

Nov 23, 2022 · From my experience unguided rockets generally fall where your shells fall. UNLESS you happen to have the target locked, then you might as well take these rockets and shove them up your smokestack, cuz there's no sense nor a shred of intelligent design in how they react to you having a target locked.

Dec 20, 2018 · Recently I heard that adding more firework stars to rockets causes them to do more damage and I haven't seen any talk about this so I decided to do a little testing. When a rocket has one star in it; it will do 6 damage (3 hearts) with a direct hit. An additional 2 damage (1 heart) is added for each additional star added to the rocket.

Rockets are good because they do AoE, so you can take down several walls at a time, but you also need to account for the 100 HQ to make the launcher. If speed is a factor, satchels are much slower and require several re-arming attempts.
