Nov 7, 2017 · If you’re looking for a dedicated drum machine and sequencer for other outboard gear the MPC 3000 or 2000XL. Even the MPC 2500 with JJOS. The drums won’t sound as full as the 3K and 2Kxl though. If you’re looking for a great Drum Machine/ Great Advanced Sampler with detailed sound the MPC 4000.

Sep 18, 2011 · MPC 2000XL is great as a dedicated drum machine. Chopping drum breaks is seamless, the wave comes out thick so it's real easy to create hats and percussion parts. The drum sounds are flawless..gritty and full.

Mar 21, 2010 · So anyone else working this way with a hardware sequencer like the MPC 2000xl, and soft synths/samplers as the sound source ? Also I like the ease of making arrangments and changes in Ableton's session view, and quickly transforming a bunch of different sequences and clips into a full song.

Jul 13, 2017 · Hey guys!! ️ So ive been wanting a 2000 or 2000xl for a while now. Stepping up from the 1000. All the info i have found is that the 2000 classic is a fraction more vintage sounding than the 2000xl (probably updated circuits).

At least in this case.
