James Frederick DeGale MBE (born 3 February 1986) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2009 to 2019. He held the IBF super-middleweight title twice between 2015 and 2018, and regionally the European and British super-middleweight titles between 2010 and 2012.

James DeGale is a professional boxer who was born in London, England, on February 3, 1986. He spent most of his childhood living in the Hammersmith district in the western portion of London. DeGale had a strong passion and dedication for boxing at a very young age.

If I’m honest, the best years of my life.” DeGale said when the call came in 2019. It was only a few days after the final ring walk.
