There are ways to fix this glitch. For the testing it probably isn't too important. If you like the optics you can either use DLSS tweaks as someone else mentioned. Or you use a software/ bat-file to increase the desktop resolution when you start FF XIV to the increased resolution of the DLDRS. And switch it back when you close the game.

Since then DLSS has been updated to DLSS 2.5.1, which provides significant benefits to quality and performance. With DLSS being added back to PC, is there a chance that DLSS could be updated?
