Jan 3, 2025 · LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Two men are now in custody charged in connection with the deadly shooting of 25-year-old Devante Edwards back on Dec. 12. The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit and the Lubbock County Texas Anti-Gang Unit have arrested 23-year-old Bryan Garcia and 21-year-old Xavier Garcia in connection to the fatal shooting.

Just after 11 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at a home near 61st and Iola. That’s where officers found 25-year-old Devante Edwards with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
