Al-Ḥaram al-Madanī (Arabic: الحرم المدني; meaning: the holy site of Medina) or Al-Ḥaram al-Nabawī (Arabic: الحرم النبوي; literally meaning: the holy site of the prophet) is the second sacred holy site (haram) of Muslims after the holy site of Mecca.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The terror caused by Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal will not enter Medina and at that time Medina will have seven gates and there will be two angels at each gate guarding them."

However, one day in Madinah, whilst standing for noon prayers (Al Duhur) facing Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Prophet Mohammed (SAW) received a revelation from Allah (SWT) commanding him and all Muslims to turn towards Masjid Al Haram in Mecca for the prayers.
