On Jan. 16, a new Commanding Officer was appointed at 81 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Hampton Gray VC in Nelson. Command of the corps was transferred from Lieutenant (Navy) Michelle Harris to Lieutenant (Navy) David Cherrington by Major Kerri Winkleer, the Area Officer in Charge for the interior of British Columbia.
