Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during a Week 3 practice in 2023.

Diggs’ health has come to the forefront because of the type of surgery he underwent. It’s a procedure to repair damaged cartilage in the knee, replacing the area with a graft of healthy cartilage and bone. Surgeons take a chondral graft from a donor or the patient’s own body and transplant it to the damaged area.
