Not every artist has the benefit of kicking off a tour while occupying the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, but the TDE tandem are not like most artists. Not only is their collab track “Luther” in its eighth week atop the chart (its Lamar’s sixth No. 1 on the Hot 100 and SZA’s third), but it follows a long series of wins for both.

The twosome “traded sets every few songs” and Lamar electrified the crowd with his live rendition of the smash “Not Like Us” that allegedly included an audience participation bit where the 37-year-old pointed his microphone at the crowd to deliver his now iconic “A minor” diss.

After performing for a record-breaking viewership at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show back in February, Kendrick Lamar and his former labelmate SZA kicked off the massive Grand National Tour last week.
