Sunoco moved to expand its reach with a $9.1 billion deal to buy Canada’s Parkland, bringing with it a fleet of gas stations and a west-coast refinery.

SUN and Parkland's merger is expected to create a massive network of fuelling and convenience stores across the Americas, including over 11,000 fuel stations.

The combined company will benefit from complementary assets, enabling an advantaged fuel supply and further diversifying Sunoco's portfolio and geographic footprint.
