The concept art for the new costume design shows Storm in head-to-toe black and wielding a powerful magical-looking weapon.

Costume illustrator Greg Hopwood has revealed a new piece of concept art showing a much more stripped down and 1980s accurate Storm costume. The costume itself was designed by Louise Mingenbach.

Kira Bursky, 28, was featured in exhibitions at the West Asheville Library and Transylvania Arts Council for her Tropical Storm Helene collection.

Observer caught up with the newly minted executive director to hear about her own ambitions and where Storm King is headed.
