Seattle joins Vancouver as the Professional Women’s Hockey League’s expansion teams next season. The PWHL confirmed Wednesday the addition of another West Coast team a week after announcing Vancouver would be the league’s first expansion team in Canada.

The Professional Women’s Hockey League announced Wednesday it will expand to Seattle beginning with the 2025-26 season, bringing the league’s total to eight teams after its second year.
