A recall of hundreds of frozen waffle products and other toaster foods sold in many U.S. grocery stores has expanded because they may be contaminated with dangerous listeria bacteria, the manufacturer said Tuesday.

Food recalls are plaguing the news this week, and ready-to-eat products are the culprits. Just a few days ago, grocery stores had to pull packages of Caesar salads and tacos off their refrigerated shelves. Now, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that people should toss out another convenient pre-cooked staple, too.
