Salt miner Compass Minerals is overhauling its upper ranks for the second time in less than a year, naming GXO Logistics executive Peter Fjellman as chief financial officer to succeed Jeff Cathey.

He is to begin March 3. In the same release, Compass Minerals said that Peter Fjellman has been selected as CFO. He succeeds Jeff Cathey, who resigned for personal reasons, according to the release.

Cathey will be succeeded by Peter Fjellman, effective immediately. Prior to this, Fjellman served as senior vice president of finance, Americas and Asia Pacific for GXO Logistics (GXO).
