Floridians keeping an eye on the tropics can breathe a collective sigh of relief as the chances Tropical Storm Nadine will form continue to dwindle.

The National Hurricane Center has been tracking a system that could strengthen in the Atlantic Ocean for several days.

For now, the system does not appear to be a threat to the mainland United States, and the odds of anything making it into the Gulf of Mexico are low.
