Former Formula 1 driver and DTM race winner Timo Glock believes it would be wrong to dismiss Max Verstappen’s exit threats as bluffing. Verstappen has become increasingly disillusioned with the way F1 is run, with restrictions over expressing himself in public a particular source of frustration for him.

Four-time Formula One champion Max Verstappen was conspicuously absent from the Thursday media day ahead of this weekend's Miami Grand Prix here in the United States. But he had a good reason for it.

"It’s the stuff I dreamed of as a kid," said Lando Norris, who won last year's Miami Grand Prix for his first F1 win and since has added four more wins.
