A car’s crash into an after-school program building in central Illinois – a wreck that killed four people ages 7 to 18 and injured six other children – does not appear to have been a targeted attack,

The car left a road, crossed a field and smashed into the side of the building in the small city of Chatham on Monday afternoon, Illinois State Police said in a statement. It traveled through the building,

The three children and one teenager killed when a car crashed into an after-school program in downstate Chatham, Illinois, have been identified. The driver has also been identified.
