Former Giro d'Italia champion Jai Hindley is out of stage six of the Giro d'Italia after he was involved in a mass crash which saw several competitors unseated.

Kaden Groves won a wet Stage 6 of the Giro d'Italia in Napoli. Mads Pedersen didn't contest the sprint, but held onto his pink jersey.

Former winner Jai Hindley (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) has abandoned the the Giro d'Italia after being involved in a crash that caused the race to be neutralised. Stage 6 has been neutralised 71km from the finish in Napoli following a mass crash in the peloton.
