Contract negotiations have not progressed between the Cincinnati Bengals and star defensive end Trey Hendrickson. On Monday, Hendrickson said in a statement to ESPN that no communication had taken place between his camp and the Bengals' organization since the NFL draft.

A text from head coach Zac Taylor led Bengals All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson to head to Cincinnati, attend Tuesday’s optional team practice as a spectator and speak to reporters.

Hendrickson was in street clothes and didn't participate in practice. According to Cincinnati sportswriter Charlie Goldsmith, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told him he will be fined if he doesn't report to mandatory minicamp, scheduled for June 10-12.
