Two people died and more than a dozen were hurt when a Mexican navy training ship hit the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday in New York City, officials said.  In a news conference, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said 277 were on board the vessel sailing the East River when it collided with the bridge just before 8:30 p.

A Mexican tall ship, owned by the Mexican navy and on a goodwill tour to the United States, collided with the bottom of the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday evening killing two sailors and injuring more than a dozen others,

The historic ship's three masts were snapped when a mechanical malfunction caused the vessel to veer into the bridge, Mayor Eric Adams said.
