Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith last played a game together when Iowa bounced the LSU women’s basketball team out of the NCAA Tournament in 2024.   That fact will change at 8 p.m. Friday (ION), when the Chicago Sky visit the Pete Maravich Assembly Center to play a preseason contest against the Brazilian National Team.

The 22-year-old produced a respectable rookie campaign in the WNBA as she led the league in rebounds for 2024, but is now targeting an even better year this time around - both on and off the court

This offseason was major for Chicago, as they added a new head coach, veteran players like Ariel Atkins and Courtney Vandersloot and they drafted a young player with plenty of potential in Hailey Van Lith. Before the season begins on May 17, however, the Sky will face a trio of opponents in exhibition matches.
