Devastating flooding impacted parts of Maryland and Virginia and also trapped more than 200 students and teachers.

Officials say they have found the body of a 12-year-old boy who was swept away by rushing water during a storm in Virginia. The flooding struck several states Tuesday.

Flash Flood Emergencies were issued in parts of Maryland and Virginia on Tuesday. More rain is expected on Wednesday, a Level 1 out of 4 Flash Flood risk has been issued until Thursday morning.
