A line of severe thunderstorms have begun to move through Northeast Ohio, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a severe thunderstorm warning covering Northeast Ohio.

Strong storms are beginning to move into western Oklahoma from the Texas Panhandle late Thursday, prompting the National Weather Service to issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of Oklahoma. Storms are expected to continue tracking east throughout Friday morning.

"The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire," states the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until 2:30 a.m.
