PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A 14-foot Christmas tree adorned with star ornaments stands tall in the lobby of the Peoria Riverfront Museum in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The tree selected will be on display outside the Michigan Capitol in Lansing during the winter holiday season.
