A Royal Thai Police Viking DHC-6-400 Twin Otter plane crashed into the Gulf of Thailand near Hua Hin Airport on Friday.

The crash occurred around 8am off the coast of Prachuap Khiri Khan province south of Bangkok. Police spokesperson Archayon Kraithong said five of the six officers on board were killed at the scene.
