The Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) – the last possible thread of diplomacy connecting India and Pakistan, which survived four wars and decades of antagonism and cross-border skirmishes, was cut by India over the dastardly terror attack in Pahalgam.

After a militant attack in Kashmir, the Indian government said it was suspending its participation in a treaty that governs most of the water used in Pakistani agriculture.
