Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris achieve an elite milestone for McLaren after the Australian won the most recent race in Miami

Oscar Piastria baited Max Verstappen into corner No. 1, slid behind his rear wing and overtook him on lap No. 14 for a lead he would never lose Sunday en route to a dominant Miami Grand Prix victory.

Oscar Piastri won his third race in a row on Sunday, taking the Miami Grand Prix over McLaren teammate Lando Norris and the gap to Mercedes’ George Russell in third was more than 35 seconds. Piastri is first McLaren driver to win three on the trot since Mika Häkkinen in 1997 and now leads the world drivers’ championship by 17 points over Norris.
