City leaders in Manitou Springs are urging residents to stop using water unless it is for essential purposes due to a critical water supply emergency.

The City of Manitou Springs has enacted mandatory water restrictions for all the community and businesses due to elevated water turbidity levels. The City is monitoring conditions, however, all outdoor watering is prohibited beginning Sunday,
