Reese returns to the PMAC just two years after leading LSU to the 2023 NCAA title under Mulkey’s tutelage. In Baton Rouge, Reese was the star. She was a two‑time All‑American who averaged 18.6 points and 13.4 rebounds as a senior. Reese averaged 14.4 rebounds per game during her two years with the Tigers, the most in SEC history.

While Reese was the center of attention Friday night, she wasn't the only player who suited up for Mulkey's Tigers on the Sky roster. Hailey Van Lith, who played the 2023-24 season at LSU, was recently drafted by the Sky. Van Lith put together a successful season at TCU before making the leap to the WNBA.
