Senior Lesley Boyd set a new Chattanooga outdoor track and field record Friday in the 5000 meter run at the Lee University Fast Break Invitational in Cleveland, Tenn.

Jermaine Freeman, who has been a top official in the administration of Mayor Tim Kelly said he is leaving for other opportunities. Mr. Freeman is currently the mayor's chief of staff.
