Jack in the Box announced it will close up to 200 underperforming restaurants and possibly sell its Del Taco brand.

Jack in the Box is currently targeting 150 to 200 restaurants as part of its closing plan. Chain Store Age says the closings will be spread across two years. As many as 120 stores could potentially close in 2025, with the remainder of the closings happening in 2026.

Jack in the Box plans to close approximately 10% of its locations to combat falling sales as customers cut back on spending.
