LIVERPOOL, England — Goodison Park will become the home of Everton’s women’s team from next season, the English club said Tuesday. Everton’s men’s team is preparing to bid an emotional farewell to its long-time stadium ahead of a move to the newly built, 53,000-seat venue at Bramley-Moore Dock ahead of the start of next season.

Everton boss David Moyes said an emotional farewell to the club's Goodison Park home will be worth it for a "bigger and better" future in a new 53,000-capacity stadium. "It will be sad when it goes, but we're moving into something which we think will give us a bigger and better future.
