CLEARWATER, Fla. — One of the first on the scene of Sunday’s fatal Clearwater Ferry crash was Captain Memo’s Pirate Cruise — the big, red ship that takes passengers sightseeing in the area.

Video released by Clearwater Police shows a center-console boat plowing into the back of the ferry, killing Jose Castro ... He says the pirate ship captain made a mayday call.

The crash involved the Clearwater Ferry, which had over 40 people on board, according to the Clearwater Police Department.
