Detroit recorded its first four home run ninth inning in franchise history, the first time an MLB team has accomplished that feat since the LA Dodgers did in 2006. Two of their home runs came from left fielder Riley Greene, who became the first player in MLB history to slug two home runs in the ninth inning of a game.
