A CRJ900 aircraft made an emergency landing at Cincinnati International Airport after a smoke detector activated.

The design would serve as the basis for more Bombardier jets, like the CRJ regional jet and the Global Express series.

Bombardier is struggling to get engines on time from one of its three engine suppliers - the company has not said which.
