The Cincinnati Bengals are under fire from all sides again, with the shine of re-signing receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins already spoiled. So it goes when an organization with a reputation like Cincinnati's suddenly has one of the only first-round picks in the NFL watching from the sidelines during rookie minicamp because the front office reportedly low-balled basic things on his contract.

“The offers prior to the draft did not reflect the vision we shared and were promised last offseason if I continued to play at a high level,” Hendrickson said.
