Turkey is ready to host negotiations for a ceasefire and permanent peace between Russia and Ukraine, President Tayyip Erdogan told his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in a phone call on Sunday, Erdogan's office said.

It is noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. The leaders discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and France, regional and global issues, including Russia's war against Ukraine. Erdogan told Macron that Turkey is ready to promote peace, in particular to hold talks.
