Some 14 people have been killed by severe weather — including a devastating tornado — in Kentucky, and the death toll is likely to rise, according to Gov. Andy Beshear.

At least nine people were killed after a tornado hit southeastern Kentucky, while another seven died in Missouri.

Investigators are looking for a suspect in connection to the shooting of an elderly man and woman in north Harris County.
