India says attack at historic residence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is ‘regrettable’
India has condemned the attack and vandalism at the house of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhaka’s Dhanmondi Road No. 32 as “regrettable”. “This act of vandalism should be strongly condemned,” Indian foreign ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a statement in response to media queries regarding the destruction of the residence on Thursday.
