President Trump announced business deals in Qatar including an agreement for Qatar Airways to buy 160 Boeing planes. The White House later said the deal is a $96 billion agreement to acquire up to 210 Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X aircraft and that it was Boeing’s largest widebody plane order.

Qatar Airways will buy 160 jets from Boeing, the companies announced Wednesday during President Donald Trump’s visit there, as Trump is expected to accept a $400 million jet from the country, despite bipartisan criticism of security and conflict-of-interest concerns.

Boeing's business has been beset by issues and disrupted by Trump's trade war with China, which stopped accepting plane deliveries in response to U.S. tariffs.
