One PGA Tour golfer took a shot at Bryson DeChambeau and LIV Golf during a tough first round at the PGA Championship on Thursday.

Bryson DeChambeau was left frustrated by his opening round at the PGA Championship as he let out a foul-mouthed outburst after his final hole before heading straight to the driving range

With the pressure off on Thursday, Cink used a scorching back nine to post a 7-under-par 65 that put him just two shots behind leader Richard Green. Cink made the turn in a pedestrian 35, but went five under on the first four holes of the back, following up three birdies with an eagle on the par-5 13th hole.

There has already been a change in the 2025 PGA Championship field, as one of the fan favorites has been forced to withdraw from the tournament due to injury.

Much of the anticipation around the opening day of this year’s PGA Championship was pegged around one star-studded group. However, it was an unlikely name sitting in the lead.
