Microsoft's latest Windows 11 24H2 update continues to cause issues for users, this time specifically for those with Western Digital (WD) solid-state drives (SSDs). Reports have surfaced of Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) crashes occurring after installation of the new update, with error messages such as "critical process has died" appearing.

It’s been barely two weeks since the Windows 11 24H2 rollout started for the stable channel, and multiple bugs have already appeared. After WD SSDs, Sandisk SSD users are facing BSOD after installing the latest version update.
