Mexico City will stay on the Formula 1 calendar until at least 2028 after signing a new three-year contract.The deal ends uncertainty over whether the race would continue after Mexican driver Sergio Perez lost his seat on the grid,

The Mexico City Grand Prix will remain on the F1 calendar through at least the 2028 season after a three-year contract extension was announced on Wednesday. The contract for the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit was set to expire at the end of this season.

Despite concerns the race would lose it's spot on the Formula 1 calendar, the Mexico City Grand Prix will continue to host F1 races until 2028.
