Caitlin Clark returned to Iowa for jersey retirement and the Hawkeyes put on a show
A season after Iowa became the first women’s basketball program in Big Ten history to sell every ticket for every home game, the Hawkeyes repeated that feat. Despite an inconsistent year compared to its recent success, the environment Sunday was every bit as electric as what took place in Clark’s final season.

Not only did Caitlin’s jersey get retired, but Iowa stunned No. 4-ranked USC with a 76-69 victory. Lucy Olsen and company were cooking as JuJu Watkins and the Trojans never recovered from a dreadful 18-4 start. Pretty sweet, right? Well, these photos are even sweeter as No. 22 watched her 22 etched into Iowa history again.
