A Lipscomb County family is suing a deputy with the Lipscomb County Sheriff’s Office for the alleged wrongful death of resident Rustin Burke in August 2024.

Two people were arrested on Tuesday during traffic stops after an alleged drug sale in south Amarillo, according to documents filed in Amarillo Federal Court.
