The Trust for Public Land has acquired 47 acres for Saguaro National Park, increasing the linkage to Pima County's Sweetwater Preserve.

Construction officially began on a nearly $8 million revitalization project at Santa Rita Park, marking a significant milestone since the project’s approval under Proposition 407 in 2018.

From Redding (about 45 miles away), take Calif. 44 east to Calif. 89 junction and continue to Manzanita Lake Park Entrance; from Red Bluff, follow Calif. 36 east to Mineral, turn north on Calif.
