The father of a car thief suspect killed by Ohio police this week fatally struck a sheriff's deputy Friday with a vehicle, authorities said.

The deputy was managing traffic at a graduation, when witnesses said a man in a vehicle started driving directly towards him. The suspect’s son was shot dead by police a day prior, authorities said.
