The Miami Heat have suspended Jimmy Butler for the third time in five weeks, this time an indefinite sanction issued Monday when the former All-Star forward left the team’s morning shootaround after being told he would not be returning from his previous suspension as a starter.

The Miami Heat suspended disgruntled forward Jimmy Butler indefinitely after he walked out of a team shootaround Monday.

Butler, who has asked Miami for a trade, had missed 14 of Miami’s last 19 games entering Monday, including nine of the last 12 because of suspensions.
