The Los Angeles Lakers are heading into their first postseason with Luka Doncic at the helm next to LeBron James, and are expected to have a real chance to compete for a championship. If they do go on a run, it will be because of the five-man unit of Doncic, LeBron, Austin Reaves, Dorian Finney-Smith and Rui Hachimura.

Los Angeles is considered a title contender with Doncic and James leading the way. The team has several strong role players, as well, headlined by Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Dorian Finney-Smith, Gabe Vincent and Jaxson Hayes.

The season series seems to show the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves are even heading into their first-round playoff series although the reality is something much different.
