Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has revealed his predecessor Jürgen Klopp reached out to congratulate him after his team won the Premier League title.

Nearly a year after the legendary manager welcomed Arne Slot to Merseyside in his final game, Jurgen Klopp gave his congratulations to the Dutchman.

The win sees Slot become just the sixth manager to win the Premier League in his debut season, with his predecessors including Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti. He sealed the title with four matches to spare. Liverpool’s 25 wins in 34 matches played has seen them stay top of the pile since November 2, 2024.
